Points allowed > Yards allowed.This defense needs confidence right now. Preserving goose eggs will provide it.

Inept offensive coordinator > good defense

Illinois should honestly be up 10-7 right now at least. We got away with some pretty ugly plays.

that's part of football. I can't remember any husker wins where we didn't get away with some ugly plays.

We gave them the ball back off a punt and annopen receiver in the endzone dropped the ball. They should have had 14 points off that. They also missed 6 off two FGs. We are getting lucky so far.

Wow...if Illinois would have played to pin us down instead of stupid FG decisions to give us the ball back with good field position...

...I just hope folks realize we won't be able to feast on the ineptitude of our opponent's coaches for much longer.

Except for Iowa. We'll probably get 14-21 points thanks to their collective coaching stupidity...
