*** Official Illinois Game Thread ***

In 1997, if anyone told me that the Huskers would be a mediocre team and Iowa state would be at the top of the big twelve standings, I would have told them that they needed to check themselves in a mental facility...well, seeing this today, I think I need a mental facility now.

 
Somebody with more football expertise tell me... Can we not run the ball because we cannot throw down field and open things up or do we just have no running game?

Yep. This tradition needs to end. It's a distraction and we look absurd promoting this kind of defense.

 
last week was the first time in quite a while that I saw fire in the team's eyes... this week, sleepwalking again. Are they giving the players sedatives prior to kickoff?
