Ervin too cute on short yardage.  Not an every down back and we need a 3rd rb for short yardage Bc it ain’t Ervin.

silver lining could be giving Grant a breather if defense holds up

but we need 3rd rb to go in tandem with Ervin Bc he’s a pretty bad every down back.

When did Ervin have a carry on short yardage which didn’t get a first down?

Grant was in for 2 series and 6 carries. Rotating backs is the smart thing to do, especially in the first half.

i think some of it is they are excited...kind of nice to see them fired up a bit

I feel like the first defensive series we didn’t celebrate but I see some old habits coming out.  Not surprised to see the team stutter more when they’ve started celebrating.

I’m sure it’s a heck of a challenge for Mickey to change that habit from the players.  It’s starting to take over again this quarter especially.
