Honest question.  Why can't we have a D like Iowa.  Dominant DL.  Tied with INT's for the nation or 2nd.  2nd in the B1G with TO's and a plus 7 TO margin.....They stop teams and get TO's........why can't we get that?

Yep, what I posited in a thread created last week.   Lot's of comments stating "pick one or the other". We need both, and this O, to win NC's

This.  No TO's, this D doesn't work.  AND Iowa is not an offensive juggernaut.

Even with the missed block, I think JD could have gained some yards there. No JD severely limits this offense.

Good point too early to tell.  My initial thought is yes, wait, but also look at UCF.  Small speed with a nose for the ball to turn it over.  What happens when the other team doesn't;t make mistakes?  

Ucf also out recruited most teams in the aac before he got their. Nebraska isn't more talented than a lot of the teams they play. Plus first year in the system.

If you are going to run an uptempo offense you need to be able to at minimum stop the run 

the downside to up-tempo
