**** Official Kansas vs. Nebraska Thread ****

Only one win away from the Big 12 north championship.

Anyone remember where we wrapped up the 2006 Big 12 north? That's right, College Station.

Held KU to 87 yards, 3/13 passing by KU for 15 yards. Sacked 6 times, 72 yards on the ground, 2.1 per carry.

David with 10 tackles, 2 sacks

Crick with 9 tackles, 2 sacks

Gomes and Compton with a sack

20 first downs

397 yard of total offense

held the ball for over 36:00 minutes

averaged 5 yards a play

man this offense stinks
If all a person were to know were those stats, they could assume that team put up 35+ points. Not 20
The 2 bad turnovers and the stupid penalties killed the offense on some drives. I just get tired of people blaming Watson for calling a bad game and never blaming the players for breakdowns.

Understand. Not bashing Wats on my part. He's not directly responsible for the turnovers and penalties. Yeah the coaches coach it but the players have to execute it and when they don't, unfortunately the coaches get the blame. Justifiably? Probably not.
