Official KU Game Thread

Any conference win is a great thing. The defense concerns me though. That was WAY too many passing yards given up. And the front four didnt do a good job getting pressure.

That was a long game. I bet Mangino could go for a visit to the Golden Corral.

I am happy we won, but wow, I about burst 3 or 4 blood vessels in my head. Ugly....very ugly.
I think I saw him eating one of the footballs between the 3rd and 4th qtr.

I honestly think KU is on their way back up the ladder. I said it years ago; when KU hired Mangino they hired a good coach. He's definitely got them on the right track. Lets hope we didn't overlook KU nor do we overlook KU again. They had us on the ropes the entire second half. Credit them for playing some damn good football.

Yeah what a game. KU sure showed up to this game. Didn't look like it in the first half. I'm glad Nebraska pulled it off. I'll give KU there props they defenitly played a better game tonight then they have all season. Hopefully Nebraska will work on there O-Line this week and there defensive back field. That seemed to be the biggest problems. But what can you do when your CB's are so much smaller then their opponents. But either way a win is a win and I'll take it.

I'm still getting plowed tonight you can bet your a$$ on that...good job N...way to hold it out....good job Zac

Props to KU...I was very impressed

How about our backs hold on to the friggin ball :thumbs

Who's wearing crimson colored glasses and trying to defend tonight's performance? Lack of tackling on D and lack of blocking on offense. Grixby is WORTHLESS. Much improvement needs to be done before next week.

Was Grixby pulled for a while in the game? There was one play where a backup was covering one side of the field and got beat for like a ten yard game, anybody else see that?

After those quick scores, we laid down expecting another 56-0. We gotta watch out next week, ISU has a lot more weapons then KU. Right now I'm :WTH at Taylor going to Hardy over and over and over again in the 3rd and 4th quarters. We have to spread it out more. If I'm not mistaken, Herian didn't even get a catch. Maybe Callahan thinks that defenses are recognizing Herian as more of a threat now. I :dunno . On the defensive side of the ball, MORE PRESSURE UP FRONT. Last week, the front four was all over the QB. These DB's are undersized and can't do it all and need some help up front. The LB's need to hold back a little and help out the secondary. On KU's go-ahead TD, if McKeon had stayed back, he could've knoced down the ball OR picked it off. Just my opionion. [/rant]
