Yeah his first instinct appears to almost always be how he can make a move versus which gap he could hit hard. I'd love to see him be a little more intentional on his first couple steps and then start making moves once he gets past the line or into the second level.

In his defense though, our line is... not great. It's hard to be an intentional runner when you're not confident in what's going to be there ahead of you and I imagine that's playing a role.

 
Why get cute, just do what was working.  I really hate OC's who think they need to change crap that is working, it's getting f'ing old.  Well there's a first but still.

 
Bad 3rd down play call. Why run 10 yd to the right when you need two.
