***Official Men's NCAA Tournament Discussion Thread***

Obviously KU can play better but a team that can't shoot the three and has shaky point guard play usually doesn't make it too far.

"Upset" winners through the second round:

#15 Florida Gulf Coast

#14 Harvard

#13 LaSalle

#12 Oregon

#12 Mississippi

#12 California

#11 Minnesota

#10 Iowa State

# 9 Temple

# 9 Wichita State

Considering #9s and #10 hardly count as upsets, UCLA was without their best player and #12 seeds winning is almost expected, the top three are really the only "surprising" ones. Had Davidson held on and Western Kentucky and/or Southern played just a little better, it could have been absolute chaos.

Interesting article on the Florida Gulf Coast head coach:

But Enfield is as much a risk taker as he is a sureshot, a guy blessed with the audacity to take chances and the confidence to usually make them.
He has shoehorned his way into an NBA coaching gig, begun a startup software contract management company that was worth $100 million when he opted out, went back to coaching as a Division I assistant, took a head coaching job at a university in its infancy, and two years into its Division I status, brought it to the NCAA tournament.

Oh, did we mention he’s also married to a one-time lingerie/bathing suit model?
ESPN Article

Oh, yeah. And about that last part: Sporting News Article

No very good pub for addidas if Michigan's jerseys keep tearing and they can't get replacements...
