Geez, I am as frustrated as the next guy, but these kids don't put themselves in the game. I would like a more talented player out there, but "trash", "garbage", "a joke"? If he is not good enough, then it's the coaches job to take him out. It's not his fault that he is not a great player. It is our staff's fault we don't have better players.

He should refuse to go in because he knows he can't compete.

Ya, if that was me, I'd quit the team because I'd get sick of getting embarrassed week in and week out.
