That's a tacky call. He was engaged before he went low. Dumb call and perfectly legal block.
It was called in a game I was watching earlier today...can't remember which one. Iowa? Or Wisconsin...Chop block. I didn't think they even called that anymore.
The rule is you can't chop block if the defender is already engaged with another blocker...Why call a chop on an O-Lineman and not on a RB picking up the blitz?
