MSU appears to sleep walking so far.
Yep came out flat, it was bound to happen with the schedule they've played...too many big games.
You could argue MSU's offense came out flat, but NU's defense truly has improved since the Ohio State game. They look like a completely different defense than they did against OSU or Wisconsin.

MSU's defense has not come out flat. They gave up one big play and got pinned back with a turnover.
I dunno, I think something's going on with MSU and maybe they realized something midweek that we aren't hearing about...just their play calling alone kind of indicates it. Lots of running and they usually suck at it, Cousins making some awful decisions...I'm guessing practices weren't going real well this week in East Lansing.
Think everyone has just seen a slow Nebraska defense this year so far. This is definitely a change from the norm.

What I think is if Tmart didnt throw three picks in 12 plays we could have one that game!!!

It's possible... I'm just saying, this is the first time this year that Nebraska's defense has looked like they have the past few years. This is the standard of play that they've always set since Pelini arrived, and they played solidly at this level against better offenses than this over the past two years. The coaches said they had fixed a lot of problems over the past few weeks, and it looks like they're finally living up to expectations.

MSU may have come out flat and be hurting themselves on offense, but this is the kind of defense we expect from the Pelinis. Really tight coverage with physical tackling.

and just as I say that, MSU finally finds an open receiver.
