But seriously, Tommy may not be showing lots of improvement, but he isn't regressing.

I hate dogging on the kid because I'm sure he is trying hard, but it's plainly obvious Nate Gerry is lost out there for some reason.

He is playing flat-footed, and when he drives towards the ball he is easily a full second or two behind. He needs to be benched for a while.

That's the main thing this defense is missing.

Say what you want about the secondary, but if you're going to choose to run a quarters coverage shell than your defense must have two dominant edge rushers on the line.

Have this staff ran a line stunt all year????

There are ways of showing something different when always rushing four.

Single biggest issue right now. You can have Richard Sherman and Revised out there and it went matter. You can't cover that long.

You can pretty much pin most of MSU's big plays in this first half on Gerry. Like Duke said, he is giving it all, but for some reason he's looking lost and maybe some time on the bench will help him see what's going on.

Oh they have stunted. They have tried using Odd fronts. The problem is our D-Ends just don't have the necessary strength, quickness, and agility to get around the tackles & tight ends.

They're close, but they're just not fast enough.
