Personally I’m glad we showed we can win games that way. Granted that MSU offense is easily the worst I’ve seen all year but great confidence builder for our guys. 

And the grit they showed. Haven’t seen a Husker team this mentality tough since Suh years

The bright side about this is that Iowa’s offense is worse.

I agree with you, and this is a very small but, but maybe we should have been called for the way we hit their QB on the fumble. It was right in the neck/head area. I was surprised the refs didn’t call it based on how they were calling the rest of the game. 

I wondered about that at the time. He was up around the neck. I kept waiting for them to stop the game and look. But the announcers didn’t even mention it.

Just taking a look at actual progress this season.

Our offensive line has improved greatly for the first time in 5 years.

penalties have decreased significantly. 

Defense actually stepping up and making plays.

When was the last time our defense won us a game?! Definitely not during the pathetic Riley Puff Cream Football shame era.

Seeing this team today and remembering what Riley had done to us, makes me think that Riley was never a nice guy. He was a con artist that stole millions from Nebrasaka and all he did is buy the players ice cream after they laid a goose egg performance.
