Ya'll are overreacting placing this on Rhule/Coaches.

Sure, they share some blame. But the vast majority can be credited to our QB throwing 2 inexcusable pics and our first string back fumbling late in the game.  Simply cannot have team leaders make blunders like this.

Also, Simms looks exactly like Amart and worse than Thompson. Choke and throw a pick on a game winning drive. New coaches, new qb, same Nebraska.

B-U-T: we lost because of two false starts inside the opponent's 5 yard line.

We lost because instead of taking the chip-shot field goal in the 2nd quarter we had a running QB throwing passes deep in the red zone.

So instead of being up by two scores with the ball with less than three minutes to play, we're only up one score and needing another.

And when we needed to burn clock, we put the ball in the hands of our third-string running back who's had fumbling issues all camp instead of our first-string thumper of a running back.

Tired of the refs not calling false starts on Minnesota 3/4 of the game. That touchdown wouldn't have happened in their jerseys were white.

I mean, yeah - that play followed the false start? Or maybe it didn't.

But it still stands: two false starts inside their 5. We should have had 21 points on the board.
