***Official NBA Playoff Discussion Thread***

Well at least the Spurs are well rested. They needed that extra time off. In a couple years half their team is likely to be doing viagra commercials. I never thought I'd be rooting for the Spurs to win a championship...
The Spurs are an old squad, my favorite NBA myth.

Lebron James free throw attempts by game (result) [iND-MIA FT attempts]:

Game 1: 7 (win 103-102 OT) [32-25]

Game 2: 7 (loss 97-93) [32-26]

Game 3: 6 (win 114-96) [44-28]

Game 4: 6 (loss 99-92) [33-27]

Game 5: 4 (win 90-79) [15-12]

Game 6: 8 (loss 91-77) [18-19]

Game 7: 16 (win 99-76) [20-38]

Heat (and Lebron) get the calls when they need them...

2 of their top 3 players are 36 and 37(yes I know Manu's birthday is still a month away. The other of the big 3 is 31. Anything over 35 is old for a professional athlete in a sport where they have to exert themselves. Duncan was also sick and the extra time is huge for getting back to normal.

If the Heat didn't flop multiple times per game throughout the year, i dont think i'd have a reason for hating them

I always said the same about the Spurs(especially Manu). But I think the Heat take the flopping title this year based on my limited time watching the NBA.

The Pacers were never winning this series anyways, I don't understand the population's (not necessarily Huskerboard) disbelief....

The Pacers should have won the series. Vogel made a mistake in Game 1, and Haslem was unconscious in Game 3 and 5. They got lucky against a Granger-less team.

Bingo, add Danny Granger and the Pacers win the series in 6.

that's bs reasoning. You don't know if the Heat would've played the same way if the Pacers had Granger.
