T mart is not a great option qb.

He's been doing OK for the most part, but that last one was bad. He's gotta make the defender commit to him if he's going to pitch. Then pitch and drop away from contact if you can... He dropped away from contact, and THEN pitched... weird.

Not crazy about that sequence of playcalling from Beck. First and Goal from the 6, you call a fade pattern, a zone read, and an option? Three HB dives to Rex woulda' done the trick.

That last option play was dead from the start anyway. Receiver failed to block along with everyone else. There were no options. That's not on TM or Rex, that's on everyone who couldn't block a 1-5 team.

Whatever - it was a good drive... If we can keep getting first downs like that, and our defense can get off the field, their defense is going to wear down fast.
