Official NFL Draft Thread

I'm hearing that the reason why Prince's draft fell is because of his metrics during the Draft Clinic.

The Lions already have a loaded defensive line and a terrible secondary. I do NOT understand that pick.
They are probably using the philosophy that you take the best player available regardless of need. Many of the best GMs do this.

That should be a scary d-line. And sometimes an amazing d-line is better than an ok secondary. Just look at when the Giants won the superbowl.
Yea. I had another post after that and said that they weren't expecting him there and with Fairly projected as a top 5 pick by a lot of people and still having him there, they had to take him.
I guess, but I still think it could bite them.

I do too. Especially when their secondary was really bad last year and will still be a big problem this year if they don't get some help back them.

Yeah, he does have some work ethic questions, though sticking him in a unit with Suh and Vanden Bosch should solve that.

This is a huge steal, at #19 in the first round.

Really? Iguess I hadn't heard that. I had heard he was a jokester
