You just know Northern Illinois is gonna come out and score on their first series after halftime.

We have two or three playmakers at most and they can't do everything. It is poor recruiting and poor coaching. The coaches we have are the worst in the Big 10. By the way, Purdue will run all over us this year. That team shows how a coach can make a difference in a small period of time.

Talent is there IMO.  It's coaching and lack of development.  Fav, Davis, Langs etc....Williams might recruit well, but DB;s seem worse IMHO.  Moving Kalu to safety, K Williams gone milk carton.....poor coaching across the board. Hell, I'm even finding it difficult to defend Coach Dubs at this point...

54 - 1st half rushing yards is just unacceptable at Nebraska. Period.

I agree...we have the talent to dominate a MAC team, just not the execution or coaching staff.

If i hear mije reilly is a nice guy one more fing time....last year and this year i just watch players of other teams flying all over the field...excited and trying to win...our players are slow and dont seem to care one way or another...this is a reflection of the coach...this is just sad

Oh I'm covered VV.  I try to keep at least 2 bottles of vodka in the freezer at all times.  You never know when you'll need to crack them out!

Scary were only 7.5 point favs the 2nd half, so that tells me Vegas has us losing the game

Can't wait to start B1G play next week..........I guessed we'd be 6-6 this season. That was with a win against NIU though.......gah!

There are no for sure wins this year with the team that NU has.  I'm guessing at this rate we are more like a 4 win team at best.
