Frost needs to give him a legitimate shot there is literally no excuse he shouldn't at this point.

That is what I took away from that chicks halftime report after talking to Frost.

Five missed tackles there, with four being shoulder hits

Aaaaaaaand the Martinez backers are nowhere to be found. It’s like they refuse to believe this guy can’t complete 50 percent of the easy throws.

Luke could take off in this offense and finally light a fire under Martinez unlike in the offseason. He just hasn’t been getting the job done plain and simple.

If Luke takes off there is no reason for Martinez to play.

We’ve had DLs with multiple NFL caliber players for years, many of whom could rush the passer. If there’s a lack of production, there’s other answers than blaming the players.

Did I specifically blame the players?  I said we hadn’t had a DL put consistent pressure on the OL, which often results in holding  when the grab when they’re beaten. 
Place the blame wherever you like, but there’s no need for an OL to 

grab, hold, or even tackle (like what we’ve already seen today) when they are not getting beaten.
