***Official Northwestern Game Discussion Thread***

You are right on Kara......as much slack as we have cut TM....we should be more than willing to accept a few mistakes.

Time for them to settle on Tommy. RKIII has some good skills...but we need to make a commitment..
I'm very high on TA, but give RKIII a break. Three weeks ago he saved TA's butt. Such short memories around here.
I am not knocking RK, but I think our strength in running the ball, and TA is better at running than RK. The offense is moving the ball, so why change? Although I am missing something, because the offense was stinking it up last week and there was no change at QB.
I think he made the change to RKIII because thinks RKIII is better throwing the ball (and generally this is probably true) and we needed to throw to get downfield fast in the 2 minute drill. No idea why we didn't sub out Martinez last week. That was just plain dumb.

Just got a text from an Iowa St fan friend. He stated he's rooting for NW just so nebraska gets a new coach.
Wouldn't a true Iowa State fan would want Bo to stay at NU?
They hate Iowa worse than us.

So the implication being we're going to lose to Iowa?

If he is out because of the "dog house" Bo needs to go. He has to win this and keeping a play maker off the field because your mad at him is STUPID!!! He is coaching for his job.

RK does not see the field again.

We need a TE that can catch the damn ball

If the D can tackle we can stop them. We've had some plays where we goofed but the majority has been bad tackling

Also, for the record, I think we could have a great identity as a run first/option team. But we also have very talented receivers that we should utilize. Some balance is required.

...and overrunning the play, lack of consistent pressure...
