Northwestern always does well against us. But unimpressed with our defense- gave up too many first downs. The offense can't seem to get outside reliably. They will need to do much better when we play Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio State.

You really need to try and ditch the persecution complex. The only gaffe was the Ozigbo slow whistle. All of the other penalties...they were warranted, and we even got a flag (PI) that we shouldn't have received.

There we go. This game had me worried as it's always a dangerous game. A couple of those things which went wrong for us, could have snowballed out of control, but the Huskers did a good job of fighting through the inconsistencies of this ugly game played on what resembled a beach.

I know of one play near the goal line when our RB's forward progress was stopped but they called a fumble. I'm not sure what other sodomy occurred. I would say we sodomized ourselves more than anything.
