Interesting the crap series by the offense as they’ve gotten further and further away from Oz running between the tackles

 
I don't get it.  How can Nebraska look so damn good on their opening drive and look like garbage the rest of the 1st half?  (Final 2:53 notwithstanding.)

Edit: I say that then Neb takes the ball right down the field and scores a TD.

What makes it so hard to watch is that this team does nothing well. With Bo's teams you had hope when the defense took the field. Here it's just oh great here comes the turnover penalty 3 and out offense...oh boy time for the big play giving no pressure defense.  Can't even count on a decent return.

 
OK, so the sack-fumble gives NW a 14-7 lead with 3 minutes left in the 1st Quarter.  We looked great in that first 1:30 of the game, and I still think NW looks SLOW, especially in Defense.  To keep them in the game, the play-calling must use only slow-developers.  Put Martinez in the pocket, let him get blasted over and over.
