Does it seem like we don’t throw the ball more than 15 yards down field. The defenses can stay close the the line
We lack a WR than can take the top off the D.  Throw in a OL that gives the QB no time to allow a dep route, that's about all we can do.  No if we were to move the pocket or roll AM out.....You know things we don't do to help him....

The thing for me is there have been holes to exploit from the offensive end. NW is solid on D, but we are doing this to ourselves a bit

Yes. Frost has said many times that Adrian is his guy and he knows how good he can be. He is definitely struggling. He just needs to not think as much and have fun
I guess we will revisit this in November and this is not a thinking issue this a football issue. He can’t even throw a 2 yards pass on the numbers, his running is atrocious, no pocket presence. He’s a bad QB at the moment. He is getting outplayed by a QB making his first start on the road.

Was about to say, Fitz has his teams dialed in and COMPLETELY bought into that side of the ball.  Has been for years, and those kids play their asses off in it, no matter how undersized or out talented they are
he is a coach that truly "develops talent" and gets the most out of his kids and talent.

I was thinking about this in the first half as well.  They aren't playing anyone deep.  But we haven't really tried.

Maybe the wind is a factor but it would still be nice to try a couple just to try to loosen them up.

NW offense seems to be playing a lot better on offense after the bad kickoff.  Hopefully,  they turn the ball over first.  We need a big momentum play.

Didn't even know we had a receiver other than JD.  Haha.  At least in the TO offense, as a WR, you knew you'd pretty much block so no balls for you.  Under this O.....
