*** Official Northwestern Game Thread ***

Fire Scott frost. He continues to beat himself. You prepare players to be better than they are. We continue to not do that. Northwestern beats us by allowing us to beat ourselves aka coaching. Fire the head coach. Simply Scott frost is an OC at best in conferences that defense is not a quality asset.

Oh well.  We've got the Best volleyball team in the conference. 

 
Lack of talent is one thing, but lack of heart is another.  This is why we hire a coaching staff, infuse some heart and desire in this program.  We have never seen this program infused with anything other than losing for the last 19 years.  19 years of hiring coaches who tolerate losing, even if losing 3 or 4 games by 50 and winning 9, losing was ok.  Now I am saying this for certain:  This program will never contend for a national title ever again.  We can't find a coach who wants to try and rebuild this program.  Yes, no coach wants this gig that can coach and recruit.  Kansas STate is a better job.  OK ST is a better job.....ETC.  Our history means nothing anymore because we gave that away years ago.  Yes, please find me a coach who is willling to come to Lincoln and risk his name and credibility right now.  You won't find a coach.  Big 10 is not really appealing if your not Penn St, Michigan, Michigan ST or the Ohio ST schools.  Maybe Wisky.  All the rest are fighting for scraps. 

 
Well... Northwestern won't win out. We can still get the division.... Get ahead, get complacent, overconfident, lose focus. And lose the game on the backside. 

 
The only people who showed heart today was the thousands of Nebraska fans who spent the ridiculous amount of money and time to go to Ireland and support this program. Those are the true Cornhuskers. 
 

Thank you Nebraska fans for continuing to be there. Nebraska fans are literally the only reason we are where we are now. If not for this fan base we wouldn’t be in the Big Ten as NU wouldn’t of have the brand and following to be attractive. 

 
Some of you that were bashing Decked in the WR/TE thread just got to see first hand what he was talking about.  Why the f#&% is Liewer out there in crunch time.  

 
How much is Saban getting? Open the wallet and get somebody with hootschpa that can get us back. Hell, pay Saban 5 million more to get him here. Anybody who is better than Frost

Time for Nebraska to start putting in some big money for coaching!!!!! Now that Biden is wanting us tax payers to pay for collage students debts, collages should now have more money to pay for coaches, right?

 
At some point you gotta say that until the coaching staff is replaced and probably Trev nothing will change. 

 
Wake me when...

  • Nebraska relies on an inside power running game, and outside running game with stretch zone.
  • A consistent play-action passing game off a power running game.
  • An O-line that can get you 1 or 2 yards WHEN YOU NEED IT!
  • Nebraska can get defensive pressure with only 4 guys.
  • Nebraska can consistently make open field tackles.
  • Nebraska has a head coach who actually knows how to manage a game.
