if you didn't see progress through three quarters last week, you need glasses.  In this weekend of upsets, well get ours.  THE BIG RED wins this one 30-27

 
Upsets can happen but almost never is NU involved in one of this scale.  This would be 'biblical'  if we pulled off a win.  I would say the only real way is if Riley has an 'in' with the officiating crew tonight and the Buckeye pick up a serious case of food poisoning and constitpation simulataneously.

This is very sad. When I lived in Detroit, I watched Schlesinger destroy defenses with his blocks. There was even a thread on this board tracking his broken facemasks.




 
Best case scenario, we lose by a touchdown or two. I would like to see this team really grind it out and play hard nose ,sound, fundamental football. Give us and these recruits visiting something to be proud of. At the end of the game I want our crowd to stand up and cheer for this team's effort. If I see this, I would consider this a win. 

 
Danged slow impulses.  Just sitting here at home watching the Texas / OU game and got a sudden urge to go try my luck with scalpers outside the stadium.  Despite the weather and potential outcome, I'd love to be there.  But one hour before kickoff, living in Omaha...ain't gonna happen.
