Burkhead has to make 3 guys miss to get a yard.

Our team is horrible...both sides of the ball. The defense couldn't stop a nosebleed and our offense struggles to move the ball against a good defense (as usual). Pretty hard to run the ball when the box is stacked with just about the whole Ohio St defense.

This is going to be a looooooooooooooooooooooong season

the TV announcers said the entire defense was yelling at each other psyching them up before the last series, with Carl in the middle. Looks like they woke up some, nice to see it, esp on the 3rd down stop.

Martinez is still the problem--we've got good matchups at WR that we're winning, but Martinez can't (or won't, now) get the ball to them.

Instead, he's dumping off to Rex.

If we had a better passer in the pocket, we could stretch the field.

Right now, our offense is Rex.

You gotta be sh*tting me.

We get no push from the Oline on runs plays and can't pick up the blitz on passing downs......yet a pocket passer would make us unstoppable.

Hey Einstein, they're teeing off on us because we're not a deep threat.

Having an extra back to pick up the blitz is fixable, as is completing passes downfield to get them to back off on the blitz.

Until they respect us deep, they're going to continue to send more men than our O-Line and backs can handle.
