***Official Oregon Game Discussion Thread***

Outside of the dumb lateral play call in the red zone, overall this game has gone as I would have expected. Our D needs to get at least one turnover in the 2nd half as right now they are allowing Oregon to score every other drive it seems.

I know it has been said already, but did anybody else just FEEL that punt return from DPE coming? I could just feel it in my gut we needed to make a play and he has a knack for doing that.

Its almost like we want to run this offense no matter what. Offensive coordinator needs to know, armstrongs limitations. Cant force it. Just cant.

That punt return may have saved the game for us.

Inability to run the ball is concerning.
They're putting 7-8 in the box. It's to be expected. We need Langs to keep pounding the rock to a) keep Oregon honest, b) wear their defense down, and c) eat clock to help our defense.

For the second half I would LOVE to see Tommy Armstrong make plays with his legs. Guy needs to roll out and run the football. oregon is bringing pressure and forcing him to pass, we need to utilitze his speed and legs to make plays.
And use that to get short passes to our speedy "greatest show on turf" style receivers.

To win this game we must commit no more turnovers, force a turnover on Oregon, capitalize off all Oregon mistakes or failed scoring possesions.

I would like to see that too as it is a much better option than having TA throw a swing pass.
