The optimist in me thinks our offense will go on a nice scoring drive and get the ball to start the 2nd half. 

The pessimist in me thinks we'll go 3 and out, give up a score and be down 35-14 at halftime.

Said the same earlier.  It is coaching.  That INT and reception were by guys ingrained to not give up on a play.  Did I mention coaching?

otherwise known as discipline.  We haven't had played disciplined in decades

Well we may have gotten a lucky break off that penalty against their coach too.  There is no sugar coating how bad this defense is right now.

Well one long drive to close out the half, get the ball to start the second half, and tie it up.  Best case scenario at this point.

I thought Diaco's defense was supposed to be stout in the red zone.

I truly feel really sorry for these players. Serious question: How can they play with any amout of confidence in this kind of scheme, when they're not allowed to play aggressive?

I fear it's going to be a long season Cornhusker fans.

It won't be if I stop caring about what this team does.
