The replay officials do not need to see that the ball is coming out. They need to be certain he has control as he crossed to over turn the on the field call. Apparently they didn't.

Still, it was a gift. So much for the talk about how the refs always screw us.

Agreed. That's always fantalk, If someone says the refs screwed us today......they obviously weren't watching
