Ha ha! Yeah, I've felt like that. Never smacked my clubs around like that though. I have to *buy* my clubs.

(True story following)

At a local golf course we have a relatively short par 4, that a guy could get to the green in 1 if he smashes it. Well, I absolutely crush the ball off the tee, and drive it just off the green, pin high. Easy little chip, but somehow I top the ball, and it goes flying across the green, into a bunker on the other side. I'd been drinking, and had played poorly all day. So I flung the 64 wedge into the air (straight up, as hard as I could), and it landed right in the hole, club head down. It was awesome, and we celebrated because we were drunk.

And that concludes my pointless story.

Dustin Johnson and Rory McIntyre were the favorites eight hours ago to win the PGA championship. Right now they're sitting at +5 (140th place) and +4 (127th). (And Dustin still has nine holes to play.) Emiliano Grillo and Ross Fisher are at the top of the leaderboard, tied for 2nd at -4 each. That's crazy!

Tyrone Van Aswegen leading the Traveler's right now at seven under--which brings to mind two questions: Who in the wide world of sports is *this* guy? And, I wonder if he has personalized "Aswegen" plates on his car? (Or better yet, on his van.)
