***Official Purdue Game Discussion Thread***

Good teams imrpove as the season goes along - we are not improving really. We did in first three games but have regressed in many ways. As I said this game reminds me of last year's Purdue game. Poorly played and presumably poorly gameplanned. team is not ready to play. How can they be playing this poorly. Once again, we are making other team's quarterback look like a heisman candidate. Just plain a head scratching.

I don't pay attention to BIG TEN teams much ,but I heard Purdue was TERRIBLE. What the hell was that about? These guys look pretty good.

Blough is a pro quarterback who I would never count out of any game.
It's all an illusion, our defense likes to let the opposing offense dictate the game

Do you get kicked out of the Big 10 if you lose to Purdue in back to back seasons in football? Not sure of the rules on that.
If you do that would make the Big 12 happy.

They would be having a press conference on Sunday morning saying "Never mind! We've changed our mind! We are expanding after all. Please welcome back our Cornhusker friends."

Hey, love the new University of Nebraska advert. Very good and to the point, though the 'Make waves where there's no ocean' is good too.

re: running the ball, how much of this is because Ozigbo is absent and Newby is a fumblin' machine?

All the first half highlights were Purdue except for the Husker fan facepalming against the railing.

That's all anyone ever needs to know about that first half.

Can't wait to credit our halftime adjustments for us winning a much-closer-than-it-should-be game against a team that fired their coach six days ago.

Purdue looks like the better team at this point.

Hate to say it, but they aren't stealing anything. They are beating us up front.

If we want to win, we better earn it in the next 30
Yeah, we miss Westy badly....and Carter too.

We need a hell of alot more up front than those 2 would offset
Carter's a great blocker and Westy is a clutch receiver who knows where to go to get open. Our other star receivers don't seem to even be in the game.
The O-line is hot garbage

Our Oline is decimated. Knevel is worthless out there and Gates isn't playing. While Cunningham is sitting there crediting Pelini with all the talent he brought on, he fails to identify the fact that we have 3 walk-ons starting on our Oline right new due to his recruiting. It's one thing if those walk-ons were solid, but they are not. Regardless, I'm still not concerned about this game.
