Sorry, but the stats don’t lie. They aren’t the whole picture, but they’re at least 60% of it. You can keep trying to say the cupboard is empty, but you’re only fooling yourself. 

This is is a coaching failure. Not a talent failure. 

Its both a talent and coaching failure.  Our players have not heart and desire.  We lack team speed.  Team speed is not coached.  We should have players that can outrun theres!  I don't care about positioning.  Speed is speed.  Speed makes up for mistakes most of the time.  We have plenty of mistakes, haven't seen any speed yet.
