Only thing that’s comforting right now is that we have Frost at the helm. He’ll get this fixed. 

That, and we may have a defense again.

Martinez looked off. Mentally, physically, every aspect of the game. He didn't have the energy we normally saw last year either. Like some have mentioned, he's either sick, hurt, or dealing with something personal that's affecting his play.

I don't think we're going to find out. I expect coaches to chalk it up to just having an off day and that's it.

Did you see him yelling at his team during the 4th and 10 late in the game? Composure was completely off

I don’t want to stay ranked. Don’t deserve it and the players need to learn they can’t just show up. Jesus what is it with this team the last 20 years consistently coming out flat? Doesn’t seem to matter who the coach is or how much talent we have. It’s insane. 

As far as next week, I don’t know where to start other then finding AM and getting rid of the guy wearing the AM costume who played QB today

 
1-0 is better than 0-6. Not sure what was going on with the offense. Omaha media has been saying the defense will need to carry the offense early in the season, with so many young players on offense. That was true today. 

 
Well NU scored on its first possession today, so it’s not like the team came out flat. Just couldn’t maintain any consistency today.
