To practice. They're up by 33 points, they need the reps, they need to learn how to execute. It's not about scoring more points right now, it's about getting practice reps and trying to get some work done.

Really think a lot of other areas Carnes needs live reps in other than the option that he is clearly not suited for at this time.

 
Not impressed... I agree with Bo, they looked sloppy. Some flashes of brilliance but they can't afford to play like that against Wiscy or tOSU.

I was hoping to leave the fumbleitis behind with the Big 12. 4 fumbles with 2 lost. Young O-Line should improve, ball control is not something that gets better with experience alone. You have to value the ball and have a certain mentality to prevent turnovers. That's about the only thing that really worries me. D-Line is going to be one of best of recent memory. Really looking forward to seeing how they perform this year.

 
Carnes may be fast, but he is a pass first quarterback. Our offense is again showing a reluctance to adjust to the strengths of the players that are actually on the field.
