Why are peopke dumbfounded by the Green decision.

Because you don't rotate QB's in like that when you're on the 10 yard line. You wait until you get a starting position of the 40 or 50, so if a mistake happens, your defense has a shot at stopping them.

Sorry but if we would've given momentum back then got out of rhythm and washington ended up winning this game the change at qb should definitely be questioned. Again I can't think of a time Osborne put in a backup qb in the 2nd quarter up two scores against a D1 team on the road (1st road game of the season too!) Maybe it happened in the 70's before I saw anything....TO didn't win any NT in those years so if he was doing it then it may have been an early lesson.

Seems that way. Coming in the game it seemed we would be struggling against a "fast" QB. He hasn't impressed at all.

You can shut up, it doesn't make sense to pull out a guy who's in the flow when you're dominating and you have the ball so close to your own goal line.

Plans can, and should be, adjusted.

So what happens on the next play Taylor blows out his knee and is done for the season. Stupid mistake to play your backup for a series every game? Ask Texas about not playing their backup last year.
