that wasn't even a good play by Crick. Nobody even bothered to touch him.

How was that not a good play by Crick? He took his lineman and just brushed him out of the way like it was nothing.

Unless you are saying it was the offensive lineman's assignment to pass Crick off to somebody else....but who? And why would his assignment be to run downfield as soon as possible from the snap? I don't know, I think #64 was flat embarrassed on that play by Crick. And Price was just fast enough to back out of something he could see right in front of him.

It looked like a blown assignment by the offensive lineman. He just let Crick through. That doesn't negate Crick's play, though.

Threading the needle is a low probability throw. That is an interception waiting to happen. Take the checkdown! The point of an option pass is to catch a defense sleeping. If they aren't you gotta take the checkdown.
