looking at the punt interference call again...it sure looks like the ball hits #31s toe area and then bounces and hits our returner....there was not interference though...for a second time, our own guy hits our punt returner...pathetic!

Yeah that's what I thought I saw too....

And the punt return hit as well, thats when they gave up and I dont blame them. Heck at that point you might as well pack it up, because the officials were not even giving them a shot to win. (at that point you had them by 1 score)

Oh puleez. If Washington gave up because of a couple 15 yard penalties that went against them, they deserve to lose. Iowa was down 24-3 today, and they didn't give up.

I am just saying that is when the tempo of the game changed. 15 yard is one thing but if that ball hit the ground then hit a Husker, and Wash recovers, it's their ball inside the 20.

Stick around I'll get a gif up early next week and we can review it over and over. It's close but anyway i don't see how you pack it up after one poor call.

I rewatched it and the announcers did as well and we both think that and the call on the punt return hit were bad bad calls. Cabt say 100% from the views I saw. But that really took the wind out of their sails. You all are playing much better D in the second half thou.

What took the wind out of their sails way more than either penalty was fumbling the ball around on the kickoff at the goalline which gave us a free touchdown.
