His bread and butter that hasn't worked.  Even though we have his guys who'd be perfect at it....

Part of the problem there is our offensive scheme is more diverse in the passing game then we are in the running game.

We are very basic in the running game:

  • Inside Zone
  • Counter
  • Duo (Gap-Power without a puller)
  • Power-O
  • Lead Draw
This is where having a mobile quarterback and the option game is so...SO VITAL. It causes those D-Ends & Linebackers to think. To respect ALL-11 players on offense.

 
I would think a half back pass or a throw back or something of that nature MIGHT work as Wisconsin is really attacking the offense.
