I just thought this year would be different as in much improved on offense and maybe a little quicker or at least less mistake-prone on defense but we look like we did the last 5 years...I know it's the first game but I don't see us being a 11-1 or 10-2 team. I was hopeful before today but nothing I am seeing is leaving me very optimistic. Missed tackles, big plays by opposing team, our offense seems to break a play here and there but then is inconsistent. I don't know...

I swear I read a preview that said Wyoming's defense was terrible against the run.

That was people forgetting that last years defense doesn't necessarily mean it will be this years defense. Going with what we had at the time to prove a point.

Our defense appears to be the same as last season...
