Bowman should have been called for PI on the last throw into the endzone
in the first half, Bowman shouldn't have been called for PI in the endzone. in fast motion it certainly looked like a no-brainer as Bowman shoved the receiver. but in replays, the Mich receiver fell backwards because he jumped, not because Bowman shoved him. There are some great photos of it too that only supports that it was not a PI.

Another point - from watching the replays, it didn't appear that the left arm cause the Michigan receiver to miss the pass - the play was decided by the right arm knocking the ball away before it got to the receiver. In basketball terms, it didn't affect the play at all.
no way, its all the refs fault that the QB completely missed two wide open receivers on that play and two Mich WRs couldn't catch the passes on that drive. damn them refs!

Something i definately noticed on highlights of that play- the WR that was supposedly interfered with didn't complain much to the refs about it. in fact, it didn't look like he complained or even made any gestures at all. if you're in that situation and you know you've been interfered with and you know you've been wronged- you're going to make sure the ref knows about it! especially in that situation.

Even the ESPN commentators were getting into it
they were pointing out bad calls against BOTH sides. certainly though the most obvious/no excuse calls were the TOs on the replays so those were definately going to get more talk-time and attention from the announcers.

just a couple examples off the top of my head- the announcers called the Shanle penalty BS and did enough replays to support that. also, Herbstreit suggested the Michigan pass on 3rd-18 with Grixby covering should have been offensive pass interference. so, unlike Michigan's fans, the announcers certainly didn't have an "only Michigan got screwed" spin.
