No.  Raiola had been talking to him since last summer but we didn't think we'd have room.  In December he was told he would start out on offense but could move to defense.

He said it's 50/50 right now but he's leaning towards playing defense.  He said he thought he would be on offense when he signed but said now he thinks he'd like to play defense.

31 reps would put him in the upper quartile for strength at OL/DL for the NFL draft. Hope we can turn that strength into something, Hutmacher was a big strong kid too but we haven’t seen much from him.
