Ohio State @ Northwestern

OSU looked the weaker team of the two if I'm being honest, Northwestern was scrappy as hell. You hate to see the game end like that with a garbage TD.

of course. god i hate osu and meyer.

fitzgerald is a hell of a coach. great game planner and gets everything from his players.

that is really too bad.

I'll take the Texas riggage any day over the Delane *high-horse* pretend moral high ground riggage.

This conference is a cess-pool of awful designed to give Michigan and Ohio State free reign and a chance at a title game

It's the same as the Big 12, except we don't have access to a southern recruiting ground anymore and lost all of our tradition and rivalries.

If you still support the move to the Big Ten, you are a moron.
You already checked into the Bump When Drunk thread, right?

I have been adamant since Day 1 that this move was idiotic from a football standpoint.

I understand why it was done from a $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ standpoint and an administrative standpoint. However, from a football standpoint (and therefore, from the perspective of any Nebraska football fan) it was an absolutely idiotic move. 100% moronic.

sandy much?

Just look at Baylor if you want to know why this was a dumb move. We had free access to the greatest football recruiting hotbed in the nation, not to mention we had an easy division which allowed us almost free access to the Big12CCG. And we blew it.

And we could win it!

And we could be in a BCS bowl!!!!

And we could be getting more (and better) southern recruits!!!

honestly, it was too precarious for a small school like nebraska. we needed a solid, stable conference. otherwise there could have been a huge shift, we would have got left out, and eventually ended up in a non-aq, joke of a mwc-type conference or some sh#t.

i really do not think we had a chance. the big 12 is held together by a thread, and it was less than that when we left.
