If Rhule keeps the status quo and chooses not to change the playbook or the staff, are we left with a hollow preacher as our coach?
If they know we have trouble blocking on the perimeter, why are they still calling these plays?
Jimari Butler spoke about Indiana and their perimeter game taking our DL out of the game. Great game plan by their OC. Scheme away from our strength. Ty 1 tackle and Nash 0 stats. Kudos to Indy.Because people will and do b!^@h either way. Because much of the time, the play is there for a nice gain, if they do manage to execute it. Because they're trying to open up the middle even slightly. Because you don't get better at doing something by not doing it.
I didn’t hear much complaining from Cignetti about the poor culture from the previous regime.
Kinda crazy how a coach can scheme a working game plan! Must be nice to figure out a weakness and then execute and exploit it. I guess you can only do that with ex-JMU playersJimari Butler spoke about Indiana and their perimeter game taking our DL out of the game. Great game plan by their OC. Scheme away from our strength. The interesting part of this statement is Rhule picked a crap OC who has NEVER produced a top 40 offense and also couldn’t attract the top offensive players from the team he previously coached at and come with him to NU.Rhule should have brought half his previous team with him too.
Not sure if it’s ever been fully verified but chatter at the time made it sound like Peetz was the main target for OC and Satt was the backup plan. Which to a degree I can understand. Can’t always land every assistant you’d hope for. That’s the brakes. The interesting part of this statement is Rhule picked a crap OC who has NEVER produced a top 40 offense and also couldn’t attract the top offensive players from the team he previously coached at and come with him to NU.
if we cant run the perimeter to open the middle and we cant run the middle and we don't have a mobile QB..?? we are kinda screw'dBecause people will and do b!^@h either way.
