Ok Im sorry but I have to clear things up...

Maybe not FORGET, but definitely look back and laugh. Especially when we beat USC!!

They will. The team is to experienced not to get throught it. Carriker, Moore, Taylor, and Mann won't let this team not do well. They are on a mission for the national championship, and some little crybaby is not going to stop this. GBR!!

i think the part that's *really* sitting in the craw of huskernation is the fact that... well, just about everyone thought this kid's head was on straight.

for near on two years, he hasn't said a word. very quiet, very low-key. he went in when the team needed him.

i just figured, "hey, this could be another berringer. quite profession, committed to team, leadership thru example."

and then he grabbed his ball and ran home.

*that's* what stings. that i and others could so misread him.

of course, he's only 18. not a kid, but certainly no man. clearly i was reading more into his behavior that he deserved.

you made me cry*, harrison beck. but i'll get over you. so will huskernation.

*in a manly way, of course

you mean kinda like getting over the series finale of Full House, with a bowl of cookiesNcream ice cream and a marathon of Walker Texas Ranger?

I think the whole beck thing is great for the team.

If someone isn't 100% commited, then there's no reason to be there or put up with it at all. I don't car how touted someone is or anything else for that matter - if they aren't sure about being NU then they don't have any business here.

And yeah, I can even respect having to do something for your own career or whatever. I don't know enough about this yet as to whether I should really want to see Beck get sacked 100 times, or if he deserves a good sending off. But as far as the team and Nebraska is concerned, I think it is a good thing, and a positive thing.

Especially a QB, especially a leadership position like that, if you don't have someone going in the same direction, the same commitment, the same vision, then it just isn't worth it.

I am already looking forward to the next QB recruit who wants to be here, and wants to win here as part of Nebraska.

Allegedly the HS coach of HB got phone calls from 3 currently unnamed D1 schools. Good luck and let him start tomorrow or there will be trouble. Still lookin' forward to the first game and beyond.

GBR
