OK, what are the positives from Pederson's Tenure

Facilities.
Think Bill Byrne already had plans of upgrading the facilities before he left. Most likley whoever became the AD at that time would have done the same thing with the facilities.
Byrne didn't do much to directly benefit the football program (the skyboxes seem to help the big donors more than the players). As far as I recall, BB's master plan had a multi-purpose practice arena to the North of Memorial Stadium, and also included a major addition to the East Stadium (which may very well happen down the line). Now, if you're talking baseball & basketball, then BB made very good improvements for the sake of those teams.
