Thought this would be interesting - let's see what kind of hardware everyone is packing (computer-wise). Post your specs for your top machine, and let's see who's king of the hill. I'll start off.

Quad-core Intel processor running at 2.4 GHz

4 Gigs of ram

1 Terabyte of SATA storage in a RAID 1 setup (redundancy over speed)

nVidia 8800 GTX stock video card

Dual DVD burners

15.4" HD Screen

2GB Ram

160 GB Hard Drive

LightScribe Enabled DVD/CD Burner (I use LightScribe all the time and it's awesome!)

Intel 1.8 GHz

and then for my video card it's just something really basic (I dont play games so it's all I need)

I have a laptop so it's not supposed to be some powerful machine, but it does the job for me.

My pc used to be nice.....curse being a poor college student! :(

amd single-core athlon 3500+

768mb ddr ram

1 60g seagate barracuda IDE, 1 320g seagate barracuda SATA

Creative Sound-Blaster Live! 24-bit sound card

Nvidia GEFORCE 7900 GTX

Simple cd-r/rw dvd-r drive

This summer I'm gonna be upgrading to a Q6600 (AR I am jealoussss), at least 4 gigs RAM, perhaps an 8800 (maybe one of the new ATI dual-GPU cards), blu-ray drive, etc.

Intel DG33TL Media board

2GB RAM

Core 2 Quad running at 2.4GHZ

400GB SATA HD

Geforce 8800 Ultra Vid. Card

DVD +/- RW Drive

don't really use dvd burner since I stream the video from the computer to my ps3 :)

I'm slowly working my up as money comes in

I keep mine from being stolen by one simple technique.

I use a Dell case. I've had this crap Dell that I used to run MythTV in my theater, which died, and just loaded it with as much as I could. Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 2.13GHz, 2GB DDR2 ECC, 160GB SATA II, DVD-ROM/CD-RW, NVIDIA QUADRO NVS285. As soon as I get my credit card paid off, I'm going to build a new one.
