Oklahoma, here we come!

Dream Scenario: Big 12 Conference splits and the Big 10 gets OU renewing Neb/OU rivalry game to be played on Thanksgiving Day every year. Wouldn't that be something? Two major rivalry games on the same weekend with Mich/OSU as well.

More excited for the Colorado series.
Who doesn't love a gimme win over an old "rival"
I think they will end up being pretty competitive by the time that series rolls around. They are getting better, which is good to see honestly
They did look better this year finally...

There was talk of OU and KU to the Big Ten, hope that ends up coming to fruition.

I heard that talk too. There's a lot of talk. I don't think it's a secret that OU despises Texas at the end of the day, I think if one of them bolts, they both go and probably to the Pac-12. It would be unbelievable if Delaney could land Oklahoma and Kansas.

If OU despised Texas, and a mass exodus happens, why would OU follow Texass to the PAC12?

Texas dream destination is the Pacific coast.

OU is fine going north or south east if it comes down to it.

I know my post didn't make much sense but simply put, one cannot live without the other (so it seems) but Texas A&M seems to be doing fine without both.

I think a split is inevitable. The Big 12 still lacks stability and if they expand, they're not going to get programs like Notre Dame, Nebraska (no way we leave the Big 10 to go back) or any other major football program. I'm biased but it'd be OU's best interest to find another conference if that's the case. The Pac-12 makes more sense from a geographical standpoint than the Big 10 however, it doesn't get much more legendary than playing Nebraska, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State compared to Oregon, Stanford, USC, UCLA.

The Big 12's stability is that every team has contracted that their media rights belong to the Big 12 for a set period of time (2022ish, I think) whether or not that team is in the Big 12. Not many conferences would be interested in a team if they can't bring their media rights with them. It would be like B1G team going to the SEC but all their games still being played on the B1G Network.
