Oklahoma Lineman high on Husksers

Huskers back in the picture with Simek1/2/2010 HuskersIllustrated.com

Offensive lineman Denton Simek gave a verbal pledge to Texas Tech over Nebraska last summer, but with Mike Leach's recent firing, he has been in discussions with NU. Could he switch to the Huskers?

seems something might develop but at least we know how to contact the kid. Hopefully Mizzou does not land him! :angry: I hate those guys!!

Ok State just received a commit from their 5th and final OL according to rivals. Javius Townsend from Dallas decommited from Tech to join the Cowboys. Gotta think that this takes them out of the running for Simek, but we'll see what happens.

by all accounts, it seems as if we have simek on the back burner at best.
