Oklahoma/Oregon Predictions

Man, I hope OU doesn't lose. If they escape with just one loss (likely Texas), we'll likely face them in the Big 12 championship if we can knock off Texas...better than facing Texas twice. I don't know - I just see (or maybe strongly hope) the Sooners pulling off a victory here.

31-20.

if we have to play texass twice, so be it........if we are good enough we should be able to beat them twice.........i think we struggle against texass, oklahoma (if we play them) and USC........Missouri offense is looking a little scarey now too.....

Chase Daniel is throwing the ball around pretty well........

I agree, Chase Daniel looks like the real deal. Ok State and ISU aren't looking too bad; OU I'm not scared of at all. I just think it's such a pity we're not scheduled against them this year, because it's the perfect year to beat them.

Don't be fooled by by Mizzu's win over Ole Miss, though. Ole Miss is picked to be one of the SEC's cellar-dwellers this year. I don't think that they presented that much of a challenge to Mizzu.

Now, Mizzu may be as good as they appeared against Ole Miss - I'm simply saying that I don't think that we can judge them yet.

I agree. Their play so far might be deceiving.

OREGON 34, OU 20............................Mizzou is pretty good but will have a tough time in Lincoln.................Lets see how they do in big 12 play.

Oregon 28

OU 7

Oregon is going to hurt OU. Hopefully, this is the only Pac 10 team beating a XII school this weekend.

Didnt these guys play against each other in a bowl game? Holiday? I'm picking Oregon.

Both UT and OU have shown me nothing at quarterback so far.

Mizzou - Daniels did get some PT last year and it is paying off. He is looking good. So far.

A&M - Same thing for McGee. He is looking good so far.

ISU - Meyer is playing good as expected. Not heisman-like, but he is good.

Tech - New QB, same system. The results are the same as stats go. But it usually takes a second year to become dangerous.

Col, KSU, OSU, Kansas, Baylor - Nothing so far. Barely average at best.

Neb - Taylor - 73% passing, 7 TD, 1int, second year starter. Brilliant!

As a whole, the Big 12 is not representing at QB. No proven QB with experience and consistency = No given victory.

(The same goes for USC)
