I lalmost prefer Woody Paige's suggestion of "Oklahoma Laters" more better.

Isn't thunder the sound from lightning?

This means they have gone from supersonic, faster than sound, to just sonic, only the speed of sound

Thunder sounds like a youth soccer club, many will be referring to as the “Blunder.” ..Something tells me they should've had some fan input or a naming contest like they did out here for the Suns. <_<

I was listening to the radio one morning on the way to work and some lady had the brass cajones to suggest the new team's name should be "Readers" because it would send a positive message to kids all over the state that reading books is good. Needless to say she was verbally blasted <_<

I agree the Outlaws would have been a much better name but I don't care for basketball.
